NEW YORK – March 5, 2025 – Defy the Odds, a startup launchpad for early-stage
entrepreneurs and business leaders in the gaming sector, today announced that it has
partnered with Let’s Fantasy Game (LFG), an online platform designed to help grow women’s sports through community, connection and competition. “Sports can give girls an identity beyond the superficial, as it rewards effort and hard work –
which is what life is about. LFG’s mission is about creating community and growing women’s sports, which basically means making the world an inviting and safe place for all,” said Adrienne Alitowski, LFG co-founder. “This collaboration is a natural fit. Defy the Odds is dedicated to mentoring and guiding the next wave of diverse—and often underserved—innovators, through relationship building, networking, raising capital and understanding of the gaming industry.”
Defy the Odds will also be included on LFG’s advisory board and help LFG amplify “Let’s F’in
Give,” LFG’s philanthropic focus that supports holistic health initiatives for female athletes,
emphasizing the importance of having both an OBGYN and a female-focused sports medicine doctor on staff.
“Defy the Odds has been instrumental with its experience and know-how in the gaming
industry,” said Gary W. Marion, founder and CEO of LFG. “We believe there is an untapped
audience looking for this type of community. As we look to launch our offering this year, our
focus will be on building this community through several unique and engaging features. We are excited and believe that the time is right for a women-specific fantasy sports platform.”
LFG is currently in the final stages of developing its beta platform, which it plans to launch later this year. The company is also currently raising a pre-seed round of capital.
